Discomfort and or swelling after your procedure are normal to a degree. If you are experiencing some sensitivity or discomfort, then take the recommended over the counter medication – three or four regular strength Advil or ibuprophen (200mg tablets x2 or x3 tablets). If this does not relieve pain then the prescription can be taken. If you are still having discomfort then please contact our office. Some puffiness is also normal but if you start to have swelling, especially on your face or in the jaw, please contact us so we may start or change your medications.
